In this third Pandora Belfry Adventure, a lost spirit is haunting Nepenthe Manor. But is it the ghost of the elusive EN—a girl who allegedly jumped to her death off the nearby cliffs—or is something more sinister going on? As Pandora attempts to solve the mystery, her father becomes deathly ill and is rushed to the hospital. Vicki goes to be by his side, leaving Pandora under Dr. Steele’s care. Taking advantage of Vicki’s absence, Pandora’s grandmother attempts to force Pandora to come stay with her, even though it’s the last thing Pandora wants to do.

Life gets even more complicated when Dougie Daft tricks her into going on another date with him, and Derek tells her he can’t be seen with her. Dr. Steele continues to persist in his scheme to make the residents leave Nepenthe Manor and return to the real world, and the town kids challenge Pandora and the posse to a basketball game they can’t possibly win. Skippy and Sinclair are acting stranger than usual, and Grandmother Belfry’s hired goons threaten to seize Pandora the moment she lets her guard down.

Hiding out and frightened for her father, Pandora must find a way to regain control of her life, as well as the lives of those around her. Because if she cannot, she will be forced to make a decision that could haunt her for the rest of her life.
